Meet Elmond and Bubs from Itimarama Villas
Kia Orana. We’re Elmond and Teariki (Bubs), the couple behind Itimarama Villas.
We’re proud Cook Islanders and blessed parents to three sons and two beautiful grandchildren.
Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to travel to many parts of the world, and those experiences have given us a deeper respect for people, cultures, and values.
But no matter where we’ve gone, there’s nothing quite like coming back home to Rarotonga. It’s a special place, and we’re proud to share it with guests from all over the world.
About your stay
When you stay at Itimarama Villas, you’ll be personally welcomed on arrival, no matter what time your flight lands. We’ll give you a quick tour to help you settle in, and there’ll be a bottle of bubbles, a homemade platter, and a bowl of fresh local fruit waiting for you.
The villas are set up to offer comfort, privacy, and space to unwind. You might be here to celebrate something special, spend time with loved ones, or get a feel for local island life and culture.
However you spend your time, we want you to leave feeling rested, with memories worth returning for.

When she’s not managing the villas, Elmond is at the Saturday market selling handmade gifts and souvenirs. The market is a popular local spot with fresh produce, island food, and crafts. If you’re visiting, feel free to stop by and say hello.
Bubs works for Air Rarotonga and is always happy to help, whether it’s with tips about the island or anything else that comes up during your stay.
We’re nearby if you need anything during your stay and always happy to help. Otherwise, we’ll leave you to enjoy your own little piece of paradise.
